The Troopmon came to the structure where David and Chrome were residing, remaining covert while it planted ten black spheres that it had been carrying inside its suit around the perimeter of the building. After it finished its task, it entered the building and came to the door leading to the hotsprings. Trying to enter, it found that the door was locked and decided to leave the building and head to Primary Village instead.

David and Chrome finished their time, and went to grab a quick drink of water, when David felt that something was wrong. David went to the door leading to the outside, and tested the door.

The door seemed perfectly fine, with no abnormalities of any kind resulting from jostling or otherwise manipulating it. If there was something wrong with it, David couldn't pinpoint what that was just from fiddling with it.
In Primary Village... The Troopmon hid in the shadows in the outskirts of the village, looking around for any sign of powerful Digimon capable of impeding it in any way. It knew it could deal with the Swanmons easily, but it worried about the possibility of other, more powerful Digimon arriving. |

David opened the door, and searched around, the bad feeling wasn't leaving. "David, what are you doing?" Chrome asked.
"I have a bad feeling, Chrome. But I can't seem to put my finger on the reason why." David replied, rushing back inside and grabbing the biggest bag he could find and packing it with food.
"Where are you going?" Chrome asked, leaping onto David's head. "We're going to check on the village. Something bad might happen. Though it could just be my imagination."
Leomon was on patrol , helping the Swanmon out whenever he could. Other than him, the Troopmon didn't see any other digimon around.

In the village, Troopmon took notice of Leomon and once again opened up his suit, pulling out a Digi-Egg that seemed to flicker and change every few seconds. He rolled it out of the bushes and into the village after sealing his suit back up, watching as it hatched into a Kuramon. The baby Kuramon proceeded to multiply rapidly, with the clones corrupting the data they touched.

A few Swanmon began to scream, and run. Leomon looked and saw a tide of Kuramon. "NO!" He roared. "Fist Flurry of the Beast King!" Leomon roared, firing off several lion head energy blasts at the Kuramon tide.
David and Chrome exited the house and went to go into Primary Village.

Though the Kuramons were incapable of avoiding Leomon's attack, the rate at which they multiplied completely offset any effect it may have had at dealing with them. Their rate of multiplication steadily increased, with some digivolving into Tsumemon as they devoured the environment and the Digi-Eggs. The Kuramons spewed a frothy substance from their eyes with Glare Eye, reducing mobility for all those who weren't either a Kuramon or a Tsumemon, while the Tsumemons attacked the now-vulnerable Digimon with Nail Scratch.
Troopmon, despite being certain that Leomon and the Swanmons wouldn't be able to deal with the virus horde, kept to the shadows.

Leomon kept at it, trying to protect the village.
David and Chrome made it to Primary Village, and saw the carnage. Leomon was facing an entire horde of digimon, but was slowly being overwhelmed.
"LEOMON!" David yelled, rushing to aid the Digimon.
"STAY BACK!" Leomon roared. "GET OUT OF HERE! YOU MUST SURVIVE!"
"THERE'S NO WAY I'LL RUN AWAY WHILE OTHERS ARE HURT!" David said. "Chrome! Let's go!" David drew on what power he could and attempted to digivolve his partner to the next level.

The attempt at Digivolution failed. Though David possessed the willpower necessary to share his power with Chrome, Chrome was just a bit too weak to receive that power and adapt it.
Troopmon saw David and emerged from the bushes, commanding the Kuramon to clear a path in the frothy field for him to reach the human. Once they did so, he ran toward David, his intentions unclear.

"DAVID! RUN!" Leomon roared, before succumbing to the Kuramon horde (Why did I think that this would happen? Oh yeah, it's Leomon. XD)
David, looked to the Troopmon and balled his fist. "You did this." David said, waiting for the chance that the Troopmon got close.

The Kuramon cleared the froth around Troopmon, David, and Chrome, creating a miniature, circular arena of sorts. The Tsumemon formed around the edges of the arena, prepared to attack anyone who tried to enter or exit.
"You are coming with me, boy. We can't have a human just wandering around freely like you are," Troopmon said, cracking his knuckles and preparing to fight both David and Chrome.

"You invade this place, destroy it and it's people, all so you could get to me." David growled. "The injustice of it all... Unforgivable. Let's go, Chrome. We fight together."
David and Chrome rushed the Troopmon. "Howling Blow!" Chrome yelled expelling a harsh sound, while David weaved towards Troopmon, and threw a punch.

Before Kapurimon used Howling Blow, Troopmon pressed a button on the side of his helmet. He dodged David's punch easily, activating tasers on the back of each of his hands and lunging forward, trying to close the gap between them to increase his accuracy and knock his opponent unconscious with a single blow.

David attempted a block with his Digivice, and Chrome dashed forward in a Headbutt. "We won't stop, until there is JUSTICE!" David and Chrome roared.

Troopmon simply aimed upwards, shooting off the electrodes from his right taser and watching as they attached to David's chest, shocking him continuously and painfully. He paid little attention to Chrome, shrugging off his headbutt like it was nothing despite it having connected completely.
"Shhh...Be silent, it'll be over soon enough," Troopmon said, pushing David to the ground. "Now, your partner will die, and you will come with me."
